Enhancing your “Eye-Listening” skills
A free* two hour workshop presented prior to our General Membership meeting.
Description:This workshop will focus on how an interpreter will benefit from the Deaf perspective and hone their skills and become a better interpreter for both hearing and deaf individuals. We will have a few hands on activities during this workshop.
Presenter Bio: Ben is a native Californian, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is also known for being a world traveler which will allow him to share many stories for this workshop related to the interpreting field. He is currently a proud Bruin, teaching in the ASL program at UCLA.
